Application Programmer

Builds and supports web sites using current Internet and scripting languages and web authoring tools. Develops code and integrates art, text, video and sound. Creates custom applications, builds table frames and forms, and writes scripts within the browser. Ensures that web pages are functional within different browser types. Duties also include troubleshooting and support for existing web applications, development of exciting new applications and features, and documentation. Requires degree or certification in related field plus two to three years experience with L.A.M.P. development (Linux, Apache, MySQL and Php) and MySQL programming (or other relational SQL queries). Knowledge of Perl, Bash scripting, JavaScript or other programming languages recommended. Seek Zend Certified Engineer (ZCE).
