The IntraCore GBIC 1000 series of transceiver modules are the perfect solution for connecting enterprise Gigabit Ethernet Switches that provide flexible, high performance Copper and Fiber connectivity in Corporate, Metro, Campus backbone, MxU and workgroup switching. Asante GBIC 1000LX, 1310nm fiber GBIC transceivers comply with GBIC Specification Revision 5.4. They are compatible with the Gigabit Ethernet standard as specified in IEEE 802.3, Fibre Channel FCPH, PH2, PH3 and FC-PI 10.0. The GBIC 1000LX have extended power supply voltage range of 3.15V to 5.5V. Although maximum voltage is set at 6V, this is not allowed for continuous operation, however, TX_FAULT and TX_DISABLE circuitry in Asante 1000LX will function at 6V.
