Shredstar C680 Shredder features micro-cut shredding, Jam Stop Auto Reverse and WhisperShred Technology. Anti-jam feature prevents jams when trying to shred too much paper for easy paper removal with no down time and increased productivity. WhisperShred Technology offers whisper-quiet shredding at 58 decibels. The entire shredder including the cutting system is engineered to reduce decibel levels when running so the noise level is low whether idling or shredding paper. The totally enclosed gear box helps reduce noise and prevents failure from dust and debris getting into the gears. Shredder cuts up to 6 sheets of 20 lb. paper at a time into Security Level 4 micro-cut pieces (1/8" x 34"). Confetti falls into the 5.5 gallon capacity bin. Shredder also shreds CDs, DVDs, paper clip and staples and offers a speed of 6-3/5' per minute and an 8-4/5" wide throat.
